Polson Golf Association membership.
This letter is to inform you that I will be stepping down as president of the PGA as of the end of
the month and have been unsuccessful in finding some one to take over. With that said there are a few items that will need attention.
If the PGA is to stay active as a nonprofit corporation filed with the State of Montana we need to
have a president, vice president and soon a secretary/treasurer, as Marty Corse plans to retire at the end of the season. If any one is interested or has any ideas as to the future of the PGA, please get with myself or Marty. I am proposing we list the Corporation as “inactive” with the State so that in the future it can easily be reactivated.
The PGA has some money that needs to be dealt with. Some current ideas are to put it to use to off set the cost to the City to fill in the ditch on the number 1 tee box, on the Old Nine, donate it to a Golf scholarship fund or the Jr. Golf program. Here again, if you have any thoughts or
wishes let them be known. Thank you for allowing me to serve as President of the Polson Golf Association.
Sincerely,
Dave Sheesley
